Since 2003, Kumoricon has provided Portland, Oregon and its surrounding area with annual excitement and fun. Kumoricon is a 100% volunter-run convention that celebrates anime and Japanese culture, and hosts well over 5000 unique paid visitors over its three- and four-day weekends. As a volunteer, I've helped to shape Kumoricon's annual look for the past three years by using the community-voted mascot as a spring board for color, feel and aesthetic.
